Industry Expert, Richard Warner, Makes Las Vegas “Second Home” This Spring and Summer, Participating in Both the Niagara Summit and IBcon
Richard Warner will be Leading Sessions and Serving on Advisory Councils at Two of the Largest Industry Conferences in 2014
Baltimore, MD (April 22, 2014) – This year, as part of a continuing effort to provide expert thought leadership in an ever-evolving industry, OME’s President, Richard Warner will be participating in both the 2014 Niagara Summit and IBcon. These conferences provide a think-tank-like environment that produces new ideas, challenges current thinking and presents new technologies for industry leaders in building systems automation and “smart building” technology.
The Niagara Summit, a bi-annual conference operated by Tridium, is taking place in Las Vegas this year from April 27 – 29, 2014. The symposium is meant to be a common ground for companies and individuals in the building automation industry covering topics ranging from facility/building security framework to the concept of the “Internet of Things,” and its practical applications for organizing data and how it may change the future of web architecture. Warner, will be presenting and leading a breakout session on optimizing processes and management of data centers.
IBcon is an annual event that focuses on working with end users and expanding an attendee’s understanding of what a true “Intelligent Building” can achieve. It will be held this summer, June 18 – 19, in Las Vegas. Warner sits on the Advisory Council for IBcon with other notable members including Kreg Schmidt of Accenture and Jim Schwartz of Johnson Controls, to name a few. The IBcon Advisory Council is being co-chaired by Darrell Smith of Microsoft and Mike Smith of Forest City Enterprises.
“These conferences give us an opportunity to come together as a community and focus on many issues facing our industry, while exposing those who look to us as industry experts to ideas and innovation being currently developed,” said Warner. “We are excited to share our knowledge and expertise to those looking for innovative facility solutions.”
