Award Recognizes Organizations Impacting the Industry Through the Use of Technology, Automation and Innovation
Baltimore, MD (June 16, 2015) – During one of the top industry events of the year, IBCON 2015, OME, an industry leader in innovative facility automation solutions and intelligent buildings, was presented on behalf of its client, The Pentagon, the prestigious IBCON 2015 “Digie” Award for the “Most Intelligent Corporate Campus.” This year’s finalists for “The Most Intelligent Corporate Campus” included The Pentagon, Cisco and Sprint.
The award specifically recognized The Pentagon’s commitment, with the help of OME, in making the most highly secure, mission critical facility in the world an intelligent campus. OME has been working alongside The Pentagon team to help develop a fully unified, open systems integration of the facility’s operations infrastructure that allows the facility operators and managers to navigate, monitor, and control all infrastructure systems at a single workstation with complete situational awareness.
Realcomm has been handing out the “Digie” Award (short for Commercial Real Estate Digital Innovation Awards) since its first event in 1999. The main purpose of the award is to recognize companies, real estate projects, technologies and people going above and beyond to positively impact the industry through the use of technology, automation and innovation.
“We are thrilled to accept this award on behalf of our client, and we both appreciate the recognition by our peers for the work we’re doing to transform the most highly-visible facility in the world into an intelligent campus through our innovative facility solutions,” said Richard Warner, CEO and Owner of OME. “This project has been a labor of love for the past eighteen (18) years, and we are proud to accept this award on behalf of our client and our work.”
